The Taste of Chicago is an annual event held in Chicago to show off the local restaurants. The Taste is held in Grant Park every year and usually has almost 100 local restaurants and draws millions of people. The taste usually takes place right before the Fourth of July.

The Taste feature various types of food from restaurants located all over Chicago. A person may get the traditional Chicago deep-dish pizza, or get some Chinese. Because Chicago has so many different people bringing so many different food types, a tourist is bound to find something they like within the massive selection.

The Taste of Chicago also includes various free musical concerts in Grant Park. In 2005, Santana, Moby, Clint Black, and LeAnn Rimes all performed.
