Jackie is a postdoc working on golden eagles. She has sequenced the genome and is monitoring a population in southern California.
Jenny has sequenced the bananaquit genome, and is in the midst of assembly, annotation, and interpretation. She has also done some work on whale population genetics.
Yanzhu is studying the expression of transposable elements in vertebrate transcriptomes. She is using a variety of bioinformatic approaches to test evolutionary hypotheses.
