About the Disney College Program

The Disney College Program invites you to spend a semester living, learning and earning at the most magical places on earth -- the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. This program is offered to full-time students of all majors, who are in good academic standing. For more details visit: disneycollegeprogram.com

What is the Disney College Program?

This unique program is a paid internship that feels and functions like a semester abroad program in a world-class learning environment. While many similar internships in entertainment, hospitality, and retail are unpaid part-time positions where you rarely get a chance to apply your knowledge and training, Disney has designed a program where you learn tried and true business practices, and then take those ideas and apply them to a full-time work environment.

Have the opportunity to work at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, plus earn college credit.

Paid Experience

The Disney College Program is a one-of-a-kind, paid internship that offers participants the tools, education, and opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. Students build their résumés as they earn practical, real-world experience in areas such as operations, life guarding, merchandise, housekeeping, recreation, resort operations, food and beverage, and more. Students are encouraged to network with Disney leaders, make professional connections in their specific field of study, and discover career opportunities available to Disney College Program graduates. Disney College Program participants live in company-sponsored housing with students from across the United States and Puerto Rico and have the chance to interact with guests from around the world. Students are also eligible to participate in college courses and may receive academic credit.

The Disney Difference

Free theme park admission; discounts on dining, merchandise, and hotels; company-sponsored housing including access to pools, weight rooms, apartments equipped with high speed internet; College Education Program classes are recommended for credit by the American Council on Education. There are several ways to earn college credit from courses you complete while on your College Program.
