Opening week at Cedar Point... A day when waits for the rides topped at 10 minutes... A beautiful, sunny day... Hours and hours of pure fun in a roller coast fanatic's dreamworld... :sigh: I want to go back...
Meet the Cast...
Mattie! Driving three hours both ways, Mattie was a trooper! He even let me crash at his house.. what a nice guy, huh?
Dayner! This picture, I'm sure, says enough about him... :-)
Remmy! The organizer behind it all... and apparently enjoys looking like a fish.
The Fun Begins...
The most exciting part about the trip was that the monster known as Dragster was actually working and operating! I was so pumped... we rode it several times throughout the day and even in the front row seat! The frightening coaster lasts under 20 seconds, but goes over 400 feet into the air and over 120 mph... how sweet is that?
This is the coolest picture of the day... After being "shot up" the Power Tower, the three amigos look directly down at me on their decent as I take the shot. Perfect timing before they got "shot up" once again.
The biggest thrill of the day... front row of the Dragster. Rem and Matt look brave and fearless now, but I'm sure they are both worried about peeing their pants...
Poor Dayner looks like one of those dumb people who are in the picture, but aren't supposed to be... You can tell what we're riding next.. for like the second or third time...
Mattie enjoys hitting little kids too much I think lol... Though, all the little kids pretty much drilled into him more often... poor guy...
Rem and I packed clothes for one night.. and wouldn't you know it.. We both wore red shirts and khakis. We looked like the high school physics class that was there wearing the same shirts... we're cool...
After hours and hours of the SHORTEST lines imaginable and riding almost everything in sight more than once... we got a little tired.. and we looked it, don't ya think?

You and your friend matching accidentally reminds me of something that happened while I was in Switzerland...my roommate Emily and I were going to Venice for a couple of days with 2 other people, and the last day we were there we got dressed and realized that both of us were wearing black short-sleeved shirts with the same style of neck and sleeves and teal skirts that were the exact same color except mine was a little longer. Oh, and black flip-flops. It was BIZARRE. Lol...you can look on my Facebook at the Venice 1 album, on the first page, there is a picture of us, or if you go to view photos of me that have been tagged by others and hit "see all," there is one in the bottom right hand corner...Haha, it cracks me up! We look like we planned it, but we didn't...
Red shirts and khakis also reminds me of Academic Superbowl in high school...the dreaded red polo shirts that were always in guy sizes and, therefore, had sleeves that came down to the girls' elbows...they were not attractive at ALL! :)
