So, it's not the Sunday update that I said it'd be, but it's close enough. Happy Halloween!
I had a rough last week. Too much going on in life, I guess. Exams, grades, meetings, presentations, event planning, internships... just too much stress. But, I think I'm good now. Things will slow down just a little bit for the next two weeks.
I'd rather not talk about school right now, so let's skip to this past weekend. Went to Cope's party at the gnome home. Definitely felt a little out of place, but I still had a lot of fun. Plus, we all so hot in our costumes... well, I was freezing b/c I was practically naked, but, hey, that's what I get for trying to be a caveman in 30 degree weather.
Saturday, I got to play tennis for the first time in who knows how long! Kristen B. and I hit it up at the co-rec courts. That was a lot of fun. We'll have to do it again before it gets too cold!
Saturday night, Tracie came over to hang out. That was pretty cool. Sunday, I had a blast at BLAST! with Tisha. It started out kind of slow to me, but it definitely picked up and ended with a bang. Truly awesome!
There's more that I wanted to say, but I don't think i'm going to say it.
This week: Econ Exam and Football on Saturday (i Finally have my student section shirt). Sign up for QUIZ BOWL! Signing off...

Tracie--> Saturday night was fun and before you know it, I'll be better than you on piano...or not. Thanks for teaching me though! I can't play quizbowl because i came up with some of the questions! They are basically the best ones ever! You're welcome (since you failed to mention it, cough) El Fin.
Tracie--> Woop! I pick better movies than Kyle, what can I say? I'm basically awesome-er or more awesome...take your pick
kyle--> ugh, I resent that tracie... you liked that one movie I picked out for us to go see when you came... and what about the movie i told you and melissa to go see? gosh... :-)
ThEDGE--> Okay, does this look like Tracie's website? NO! So take your argumentative comments out of here... This is my site, and it should be about me :-)
andrea--> Eric, this comment in for you. It even has your name in it! I was just thinking of you the other day because I haven't heard from you in a long time. Probably because you are insanely busy, as usual. The Quiz Bowl thing sounds exciting! It's so cool that you are implementing that at Purdue. I'm surprised they didn't already have something like that. I hope I get to see a pic of you as a caveman. I'm going to look through your album right now. Bye!!
Tracie--> This is fun- having so many people use me. Yeah me! Let's just settle this the old fashioned way. Agree that everyone is equally awesome! (Kyle did pick out a good one when I went to see him though, maybe that is saying something Eric?)
ThEDGE--> Sure, Kyle is awesome... but Tracie, Andrea, and myself are at a much higher level of awesomeness. Nothing against you, Kyle, but it's just the truth... I'll put up pictures later this weekend.
kyle--> Dude! On my comment I had another whole paragraph that was all about you and your weekend and all that... it even showed up when I hit continued because I read through it to make sure it made sense! geez, people...
ThEDGE--> Well, man, sorry... I don't know where it went b/c it obviously didn't copy over. And the whole thing about the three of us (Tracie, Andrea, and myself) being at a higher level of awesomeness... I'd take it back and say it wasn't true, but I'm not a liar, so.. sorry about that, too... :-)
kyle--> I'm pretty sure you must have just not seen it when you were copying it to put it on your website... so that's not my fault, but yours... thus making your higher position of awesomeness sink some... sorry! haha, just kidding... but yeah, did you really not see the 2nd paragraph?
Tracie--> For once and for all, I am the most awesome! End of story! :-)

Visited--> ISU
Eaten--> Mexican food for two straight meals
Listened--> RENT Movie Soundtrack
Saw--> The Fog I'll give it a "C" grade... Bad choice Mr. Speakman...
I'ma going to start to try to update this thing every Sunday. How does that sound? Might or might not happen.
I've had a pretty good week. I had a tour of the Caterpillar facility in Lafayette and an interview with the company. I'm looking for an internship over the summer. The interview went pretty well... it was just a long one. Normal interviews are 30 minutes, but I had TWO interviews with two separate people and it took me an hour and a half! I held up pretty well, though, so we'll see if it pays off. I really want an internship at the Lafayette CAT plant, but I don't know if they have anything for electrical engineers there. Most likely I'm going to be in Peoria, Illinois for the summer. It's about 3.5 hours away. And the thought of that already makes me sad for summer. However, I haven't even been offered an internship yet, so I guess no need to worry for now.
Classes have been rough this semester. I've been working harder than ever in everything, and I'm really close to a burn-out. I'm beginning to question my choice of major... I really don't know. I just wish deciding what I want to do for the rest of my life would be an easy decision...
<-EDIT->
I just got an email last night saying that I indeed did get an internship at CAT for the summer. And, yes, it's the plant in Peoria, Il, about 3 hours away from here. Part of me's excited, but part of me is already sad. I'm going to be away the whole summer, missing out on everything, living on my own. Part of me's scared. It's been a rough week...
<-END EDIT->
Tracie and I went to dinner on Thursday. We tried something new and went to Earhart dining court. We both made this delicious stir fry. She informed me that she had uninvited me to go see a play with her and go with this David guy... I was a little perturbed.. :-)
I had a great weekend, however. I drove down to see my best friend, Mr. Kyle Speakman, down at the lovely campus of ISU. The truck gave me some problems, but I made it down there eventually... what a boring drive... We ate dinner together, saw a horrible movie, played piano and sang till 1:30, and made a late night Taco Bell/Ice cream run with a few of his friends. And, naturally, Kyle and I stayed up till 5 in the morning... We were rudely awakened to the sounds of a parade blasting down the street the next morning though. It was really great seeing him, and it reminded me how much I miss being able to see him everyday... thanks for everything, bud.
I came back Saturday afternoon and hung out with my family. I picked up my Christmas piano music from home and I got all excited lol... It's not even November yet, but I need to learn a bunch of songs. I really would like to go play at places this December.
Next week: Physics Exam, a billion meetings, class (maybe... j/k), and BLAST with Tisha. I'm only looking forward to one of the above mentioned things. I'm sure you can figure it out. Signing off...

kyle--> hey, man, like I said earlier, it's gonna be ok with the whole internship. You'll still be able to come home on weekends, and I'm sure we can get people to road trip over there to see ya. It'll be an awesome experience, too, and it's awesome that they chose you for the internship! Congrats!
Thanks for coming this weekend. It was really fun... It was great talking with ya too. I definitely enjoyed the piano/singing with everyone. We need to do that again...
Tracie--> You forgot the most important part of this week...you dressing up as a caveman! Thanks for dinner on Thursday and me talking so fast and so much that my throat was sore the rest of the night. And you know you were excited about getting out of the play. I'm excited for you internship. Just think about how awesome it will be when we go and visit you! Cause I love road trips! Except...how am I going to get pictures on my site over the summer without you?! Holy Crap! I really can't think of anything else to say. I heart you and can't wait to see you in your caveman costume!
Leah Yablong--> I think I saw you in the stairwell of the math building today... if i WAS you, im sorry i didnt say hi. and if it wasnt you... well good thing i didnt say hi. haha. hope everything is well. ttyl!
ThEDGE--> I was in the Math stairwell today, but I honestly don't remember seeing you at all lol. I climbed from main floor, to the 5th floor, down 7 floors to the basement, and then back up 2 to the main floor, so I was in there a lot and I was probably zoned out. But, here's your "HI" now :-)
KAtie Dale is everyone's hero--> Congrats on the internship...I've been to Peoria and its not a bad drive...come visit me next!!

NEW ALBUM POSTED!
Sorry it's been a while, kids, but here's your weekly update.
Friday I had lunch with my boy, Kyle, and dinner with the great, Tisha. Went to see the Mc Senior Night Football game. Saw us get torn up. Saw my man, Taylor, tear it up on the field though. Went bolwing. Regretted going to the Purude-Iowa game. Went to the Showband Spectacular, and got there when McCutcheon was finished. Ate everything in sight at Taco Bell. Taught a couple tennis lessons. Hung out with the fam. About sums up everything.
Man, I'm not very exciting today, am I? I forgot something above.. I got sick. Bleh...
On a more positive note, I got an interview with Caterpillar for an internship this summer. I was really hoping to get one at the local plant, so I could live at home and everything, but it sounds like most of their internships are in Peoria (about three hours away). We'll see how that goes. That interview's next week... and I go on a tour on Sunday with the 10 other people chosen. I'm kind of excited.
Well, that's bout all the time I have for today. Have a good one, everyone.

NEW ALBUM POSTED!
So, yet again, it's been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that.. it's been busy here lol, as usual.
Past week I haven't been feeling well. Something I ate really messed up my stomach, but I think I'm finally starting to feel bette. I've had some bad headaches this week, but I actually feel somewhat normal today. What a change that is!
I had my first ever lab practical yesterday. Of course, that was during the time I had a pounding headache, but I figured that was going to happen anyway. I flew through it. I was the first one done, which made me feel unsure if I did it correctly. Turns out I hooked one wire in wrong, but I'll lose maybe 2 points for that. Other than that, my values checked out pretty close, though I'm not sure how close they were supposed to be. All in all, I passed, even with a big headache.
Boycott the Purdue Pride store next to Ross-ade! - reasoning coming in next week's STEW (It's a long story...)
No one really cares what I did last week, so I won't bother to relive it with you. FOUR DAY WEEKEND! yippee. I love Fall Break. I think my dad asked me once what the point of Fall Break was. I honestly had no reasoning lol. But a break mid-way through semester is fine with me!
Going to the Mc football Friday night. Doesn't sound like many people want to go.. I'll go alone if I have to. I have to go see at least one game this year. I couldn't make it for Homecoming, so I need to go to this one. Bowling and shakes sounds like what's happening afterwards. Purdue game Saturday.. Spectacular afterwards? Should be a good time.
I come back from Fall Break with an exam every week until Thanksgiving (that's 6 exams...). Not looking forward to that.
Hm.. this is one of my shorter entries.. and actually very random entry. But, hey, it's an entry. Class is calling me... until next time...

Tracie--> What's the spectacular after the game on Saturday? I want to know! Just like candy doesn't have to have a point, fall break doesn't have to have a point. Strange analogy, but fall break is just like candy. See ya tomorrow.
kyle--> nice job on the lab practical, man. those are never very fun... sounds like you tore it up, though!
