Okay, so I haven't updated in over a month... sorry! I've been really busy... some of you dedicated people having been checking for an update everyday, so as your reward, here it is.
This semester has been deemed the toughest semester for EE's, and I can understand why. I only have 15 credit hours, but it seems like so much more. Material seems easy, but the exams have proven to be difficult. Hopefully these next few go better... this semester is to further weed-out people, so I'm hoping just to make it through this semester and it'll all be better.
Geez, I don't even know where to start... hmm.. two weeks ago I attended the EMV sophomore leadership conference. We spent a whole 24 hours at the lovely Camp Tecumseh. I was kind of nervous about going b/c I didn't know anyone else going, but it turned out being a bunch of fun. We had a huge (like 30 people) game of Mafia going.. and I was the Sheriff. I ALMOST figured out all 3 Mafia, but they killed me off before I got to tell everyone else who was Mafia.. I was ticked. We broke up into small groups in the morning and I met a bunch of awesome people. We did the "ropes course" at Camp Tecumseh and it was really freakin cool. We had situations and scenarios to complete as a team and we all really bonded after that. A weekend well spent.
Last week was the Industrial Roundtable. I had to get up at 4 in the morning for two days. I was out on the Memorial Lawn from 5AM till 5PM. What a long two days it was... but it was rewarding. Over 10,000 people stopped by the mall and 250 different companies were there. I talked with Caterpillar about an internship. I talked with three different company reps and two of them seemed to really like me. One said she'd contact me personally about getting a tour of the Lafayette facility. However, that hasn't happened yet... So.. ya.. Hopefully I get a call soon.. or I'll just have to try again at the next job fair in the spring.
I went to Cedar Point this last weekend with PESC. About half the council went, and it was a blast. A bunch of pics are going to be put up in the Album in a few days, where I'll tell ya more about it. (PESC members can view them all on the Member's Only Site
After such a great weekend, I've been kind of down lately. I got a chance to get away from everything and relax at Cedar Point, but I come back and everything's all here still. The homework, exams, meetings.. Fall Break's 'round the corner I guess.
Well, anyway, hope you're all having a good week. Updating every week is the goal, but sometimes I can't, so, who knows when my next update will be... just keep your guard b/c it'll surprise you.

Tracie--> I do check quite frequently to see if you updated, but I have no life. I can't wait for fall break... I might even make the Friday before part of it to...we'll see how that goes.
Tracie--> the last "to" should be too...I'm retarded basically
kyle--> Hey, man. I've brought up your update and read part of it like 4 different times, but I never got through all of it because I always had to leave. So, I'm finally getting to comment! You've been so crazy busy lately, man... JL was just asking when you're going to come visit us down here in the far south, lol. Hopefully you can come sometime soon! Anyway, I can relate to getting away from everything, but then everything is still waiting for you... it sucks... hang in there, though, man!
Tracie--> I don't know if I left a comment or not, but I just realized your "listened" to part and that's funny that you really listened to that. You're a cutie Eric.
ThEDGe--> Lol.. that song is so great... We were really jamming to it in the Purdue vans at 7 in the morning on our way back to Lafayette. It was really fun lol. AND we heard it TWICE on the way back.. how weird is that?
