Welcome to the "English in Russia" project

We have created this website in hope to unite the scholars whose research interest concerns sociolinguistic reality of English in the Russian Federation / the Soviet Union. The primary objective of this project is to compile the published works on various aspects of English in Russia and to provide the interested scholars with the most up-to-date bibliography, published both in the English and Russian languages.

This web-resource is work-in-progress. Currently, we have only posted the list of publications on English in Russia; we intend to extend the list to the annotated bibliography. In doing so, we hope to help our non-Russian-speaking colleagues get familiar with the body of research published in Russian as well as to boost professional interest of Russian scholars to Russian English.
