The Bell Tower is Purdue's ONLY undergraduate magazine for the arts, and is widely distributed across campus, providing a unique and high-quality publishing opportunity for Purdue's artists, wrtiers, and poets. The Fall 2013 Schedule:
September 9th: HEAV 102 6PM - Social Mixer
September 23rd: BRNG 1268 6PM - Brighton Beach Memoirs discussion. We will be reading the play by Neil Simon (which is available for purchase on Amazon, here, although having your own copy is not a requirement to attend) and discussing the performance by our very own Purdue Theatre Department. Details on the performance and other events by the Purdue Theatre can be found here. Please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to join our group as we attend the performance! (The date of our attendance is still undecided.)
October 21st: BRNG 1268 6PM - Open topic. Feel free to join us in conversation and a night of good fun! Anything and everything is open for discussion, and we always welcome new friends.
November 4th: BRNG 1268 6PM - Career panel. Join us as we discuss post-undergrad opportunities related to the English, Communication, and Journalism fields. We will have various individuals with degrees and experience in these areas, and they will be happy to answer any questions and provide information. This is a great networking opportunity for anyone interested in an English-related career!
November 18th: BRNG 1268 6PM - Discussion of The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
December 2nd: BRNG 1232 6PM - Information meeting for those who are involved with Purdue's undergraduate magazine for the arts, The Bell Tower. Please join us if you are interested in becoming a judge and viewing the work of talented Purdue undergrads!
