TOEFL® COE RESEARCH PROGRAM -- TOEFL Committee of Examiners (COE) research grants are intended to support research on topics related to TOEFL as identified by the Committee of Examiners and Educational Testing Service. Some of these topics lend themselves to either research syntheses or empirical investigations. Award Value - Research syntheses are usually funded up to $50,000 USD. Studies involving the collection of new empirical data are funded up to $125,000 USD. These amounts are inclusive of institutional overhead. Preliminary applications should be submitted via e-mail to TOEFLRC@ETS.ORG.

The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) provided funding for doctoral dissertation grants. Grants of up to US $5,000 are awarded for the highest rated proposals. Apply http://www.tirfonline.org

RESEARCH FUNDING PROVIDED BY PURDUE UNIVERSITY The Purdue Graduate School provides internal funding to Ph.D. students who are in good standing and are actively working on their dissertations. PRF Research Assistantships: The Purdue Research Foundation offers half-time research assistantships for doctoral students through two programs: PRF Research Grants and PRF Summer Research Grants.
