Brief History: PFA came back to prominence in the Midwest in the late 90′s. It’s one of many members of the Midwest Association of Filipino Americans (Fil-Ams).

Mission Statement: To promote closer unity and cooperation amongst Filipino and Filipino Americans around Purdue University by promoting Filipino culture and Asian American awareness, coordinating meetings and events, and through further support of its members.

What PFA has to offer: PFA offers fun, friendship, and culture. We network a lot and do social events with other organizations at Purdue and MAFA. Game night, Karaoke nights, weekend socials, and Tagalog 101 sessions are our most popular events.

Fun Facts:
The 2003 MAFA Conference was held at Purdue.
PFA took second place in the 2004 Battle of the Bamboo competition.
