Academics
Glenwood girls pride themselves on academics. Studies are important priority during your stay at Glenwood. In past years, Glenwood has ranked in the top 3 women's cooperative house in academics. Glenwood requires that you have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA to be considered for membership.
Because academics are important, Glenwood girls are required to do study tables. Study tables are a time to go to the library and study in a quiet environment. Girls find this helpful because it is a scheduled time that they can put aside to focus on academics.
At the beginning of each semester, Glenwood holds an education banquet. This where we have a formal dinner and awards presentation. During this time we recognize girls who have had improved, and outstanding GPA's, as well as overall room GPA and highest GPA. It is at this time that all the hard work pays off for a Glenwood girl.
