Philanthropies

Life on a college campus can tend to get one pretty self-involved. That's why we enjoy participation in philanthropies and charitable events. Whether it's giving of our time, talents, or raising funds, Glenwood girls love to be involved. Our Philanthropy Corner is dedicated to promoting philanthropies and keeping G-dubbers updated on upcoming events. We do many philantropies all ranging from participating in PUDM (Purdue Univerosty Dance Marathon) to making Spring baskets for a senior citizen home. In 2012, Glenwood also competed in the Big Man On Campus (BMOC) philanthropy run by Zeta Tau Alpha. BMOC supports Breast Cancer awareness and research. Glenwood actually recieved the award for Big Women On Campus.

Athletics

Intramural athletics is a Glenwood tradition rooted not only in competition and winning, but in camaraderie and sisterhood.

Each girl is required to participate in a minimum of two sports per semester. With a wide variety of options, it's easy for even the "athletically challenged" to find the right fit. Intramural sports range from sand volleyball and flag football to bowling and table tennis. Those aren't your sports? Don't worry! There are many more from which to choose.

Sisterhood

In a house of 34 girls, Glenwood tends to get a bit crazy at times! Having 34 girls in the house means having 34 girls girls to talk to after a day of classes, 34 girls to help you with your homework, and even better- 34 other closets to raid! From senior wills to sisterhood functions-Glenwood is always a fun place to be!

Serenades

As a new member in the cooperative system you are required to have a new member serenade, don't worry, it's a lot of fun! Some houses will perform theses serenades while others won't. But the real fun begins when we have our new member talent show. All of the cooperative houses meet to show off their talents!
