"Pledge Project, when the pledges re-decorate a room in the house, builds so much pride for how the house looks. It's like Trading Spaces except we're the designers!"

Third Floor
The third floor is the cold air dorm. This is where all the girls sleep. Cold air dorms are quite common at Purdue. Sleeping in one, large room allows more freedom in personal rooms. This way nobody has to worry about when one roommate wants to go to sleep and the other needs to stay up and study. The cold air dorm has silent hours 24 hours a day and alarm snoozing is prohibited.

So you're wondering why it's called the "cold air dorm?" By sleeping with the windows open, fresh air can circulate through the room providing a healthier sleeping environment. And yes, with Indiana weather, it gets a tad bit chilly! But you'd be hard pressed to find anybody, including alumni, who don't think they get/got the best sleep of their life in the CAD. Electiric blankets are welcomed and appreciated by all who have them!
