To all who are interested in getting involved in IDPA style competition, I will be giving a presentation on Monday during practice. Sorry to take some of your practice time away but Monday is the only time I know most of you will be there. We will meet in one of the Armory class rooms.

Basically, just show up and stand around in the entryway looking confused. We'll tell you where to go and what to do.

If you can't wait, try 1) reading our website, the answer might be somewhere on there, 2) asking in the forum (there's an anonymous, no-registration section if you'd like to keep your identity to yourself), or 3) emailing a club officer from the "Our Officers" page in the list on the left. Note that emailing an officer directly will be faster than using the "Contact the Club" page; the President and VP are good officers to contact when in doubt.

I'm waiting on two new versions of software we use on the website to go stable (phpBB3 and SimplePHPBlog 0.5.0.1), at which point I'm going to make my best attempt to upgrade them smoothly. Based on past experience, the smooth part isn't going to happen, so if the website gets a little goofy at some point in the next few weeks, that's why.

As always, there will be no practice next week due to exams.

Rifle and Pistol Club officer nominations/elections for next year will be next Monday, April 23. Anyone with currently paid member dues is welcome and encouraged to vote, and anyone who plans to be actively involved next year is welcome to run for an office.

Positions include president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, two armorers, rifle team captain, and pistol team captain.
