Our sincere thanks to all the individuals who went out of their way to make the match run smoothly and successfully, or who brought necessary supplies and equipment. Your help was invaluable, and we appreciate it very much.

Tommorow, Saturday October 13, will be the Boilermaker Invitational match pretty much all day in the armory. This is our big event for the fall, with universities from all over the midwest in attendance, so anybody who's interested in seeing a college rifle match is more than welcome to stop by the armory. Please enter and exit the armory through the front doors after competition has begun. There will be 2 full-course smallbore relays (12 targets each) and 2 full-course air rifle relays (6 targets each), one of each being in the morning and afternoon. Purdue will be shooting in the afternoon.

Members interested in participating or just hanging out can show up starting at 6:30 in the morning for setup, or any time thereafter.

There will be no practice on Monday, October 9, due to October break. Regularly scheduled practices will resume Wednesday.

Congratulations to our 4 smallbore team members who travelled to Grand Valley State University this past weekend to take on 3 teams from GVSU.

Purdue placed 3rd out of the four competing teams, losing second place by only 5 points. Results are posted here.

Safety Days
If your club, residence hall/floor, fraternity/sorority, or other Purdue organization would like to schedule a day to go shooting in the armory, or you'd just like to learn more about our Safety Day program, get in touch with our treasurer and we'll set something up.
