Ok, you've been asking, so here goes...we're planning a club trip to the range at Jasper-Pulaski for Saturday, December 2nd (that's the Saturday before dead week). The plan is to meet at the armory at 10 am, stop by Wal-Mart for ammo, and pretty much spend the whole afternoon at the range. Personal firearms of all calibers are welcome and encouraged! If you don't have any firearms of your own, don't worry - we'll have plenty there, so you're welcome to use them if you pay for your own ammo.If you're interesting in going, please send John an email to let him know, so we can plan ahead for transportation. We want to make sure we can get everyone there and back!

Competition shooters: our November postal targets need to be postmarked by November 30th, so you've only got 4 practices left to shoot them: Monday 11/20, Monday 11/27, Wednesday 11/29, and Thursday 11/30. Please make plans to get these done!Sunday, November 12, 2006, 12:20 AM - Tech Support
A firearm safety section has been added to the website, here. It contains a copy of our safety briefing slide show presentation, in case anyone is curious or wants to preview it before attending. Also, a link has been added to the links page for the EuroSimulator, a fun interactive Adobe Flash application that lets you learn and practice rifle and pistol aiming. If you've never shot before, this would be a great way to quickly become familiar with the basics of marksmanship.

Tommorow, Saturday October 13, will be the Boilermaker Invitational match pretty much all day in the armory. This is our big event for the fall, with universities from all over the midwest in attendance, so anybody who's interested in seeing a college rifle match is more than welcome to stop by the armory. Please enter and exit the armory through the front doors after competition has begun. There will be 2 full-course smallbore relays (12 targets each) and 2 full-course air rifle relays (6 targets each), one of each being in the morning and afternoon. Purdue will be shooting in the afternoon.Members interested in participating or just hanging out can show up starting at 6:30 in the morning for setup, or any time thereafter.
