Who are we?
The Purdue Rifle and Pistol Club is a student-run club sport organization dedicated to promoting interest in shooting sports at Purdue. The custodians of a long and proud tradition of Purdue marksmanship, our history began in the late 1800's with the formation of the Purdue Rifles. Membership is open to all current Purdue University students.

PRPC is a fun, exciting, and safe way for Boilermakers to learn about and participate in a phenomenon as central to our American heritage as baseball, voting, and the American dream. Our practices are informal and always open to new members, regardless of their shooting experience or lack thereof. We're here to provide all the instruction, equipment, and supervision needed for anyone to quickly become a proficient shooter with both rifles and pistols - and as every one of our members can tell you (we were all new shooters once), it's not hard at all.

The Rifle and Pistol Club is the second oldest club on campus, and one of three official shooting sports at Purdue (the others being Trap and Skeet and Archery).
