About Collegiate Challenge

Collegiate Challenge is the name of our annual Spring Break trips. Every Spring Break we send groups of volunteers to various locations in the United States to help the local Habitat affiliates build homes in the community. These trips are a great opportunity to travel, meet new people, and do something productive with your breaks. On a typical trip, you will spend mornings and part of the afternoons during the week at the work site. Any other time is free time to be used however you would like— explore the surrounding area, hang out with your Purdue group and/or groups from other locations, relax at the beach, etc. The nominal cost of the trip is $190, which covers transportation and lodging for the week. A $60 discount is offered if you volunteer the use of your car as transportation for your group (in addition, all gas expenses will be reimbursed by Purdue Habitat).
