Greek groceries in the area
Here we will present a few places that might have foods, drinks and other groceries that might be of interest to people from Greece.
You can find Greek Coffee Loumidi and Nescaffe Frappe at Foodmart (208 South Street #B) in West Lafayette.
You can find Strained Yoghurt Fage at Target (3630 State Road 26 E) in Lafayette.
You can find Feta almost everywhere (Walmart, Payless, Marsh, Target). Perhaps you can find the cheapest Feta cheese in Sam's Club (3819 State Rd. 26 E., Lafayette).
In Marsh, they have a small section called "Foods of the world" where they have Eggplant Spread (Melitzanosalata), Stuffed Grape Leaves (Ntolmadakia), Greek Oregano, Greek Olives, spices from Greece and some other stuff.
You can find Ouzo, the brandy Metaxa and a couple of greek wines in the Village Bottleshop at 404 Sagamore Parkway West in West Lafayette. Note that the greek wines might not be on display so you will have to ask for them.
Also, in Greektown at Chicago (South Halsted Street, between Monroe and Van Buren Street), there is a grocery shop where you can find many many greek groceries.
If you are in the New York area, in Astoria there is a store with greek groceries called Titan Foods. You can find more information in their website. Note that you can also order their groceries online.
