- 2:00 Session 1 Prof. Ilai Alon “Negotiations in Arabic-Speaking Islam”
- Dr. Ilai Alon is a graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and winner of a two-year post doctoral scholarship at Oxford University. He is distinguished Professor of Political Science at Tel Aviv University and currently visiting Professor at the University of Chicago. Professor Alon continues to be the Negotiations Adviser to the Prime Minister.

- 3:15 Session 2 Prof. Amos Guiora “Legal Aspects of Counter-Terrorism”
- Lt. Col. Guiora served for 19 years in the Israel Defense Forces Judge Advocate General Corps, where he held a number of senior command positions, including Commander of the IDF School of Military Law, Judge Advocate for the Navy and Home Front Command, and Legal Advisory to the Gaza Strip. He had command responsibility for the development of an interactive software program that teaches soldiers and commanders a code of conduct based on International Law, Israeli Law, and the IDF code.

- 5:15 Session 3 Carl Schrag “Prospects for Peace: Can Abbas and Sharon Make a Deal?”
- Carl Schrag is the former Editor of The Jerusalem Post, and in his award-winning career as a reporter and editor, he has chronicled political and social developments in Israel. His current writing focuses on the changing paradigm of Israel-Diaspora relations, and he is an expert on media coverage of the Middle East conflict.
