I am not sure whether this has been said in your welcome packet or any mail from Purdue's Student Health Centre (PUSH) but I just wanted to put it out there...From Fall 2009, Purdue will NOT accept any outside insurance coverages/policies. You will have to buy Purdue's own insurance. So dont bother scouting for affordable insurance policies in India...If you were already aware of this, pls ignore the repeat telecast

Officers/Current Purdue students can confirm this coz I read this on PUSH's notice board a couple of weeks ago

You would recommend that we should go for purdue's student health insurance as it is more convenient than having something from india. so that is really great..

I anticipate that is it actually all-important to get allowance afore I get to US? As in if I wish to yield the University insurance, again do they accept accouterment for me to assurance up afore extensive there? Or do I get allowance here, ability there and again assurance up for the University scheme.

I don't accept an allowance yet and if i don't wish to yield accident , i should get Purdue's apprentice bloom insurance?
