Purdue ISS (International Students & Scholars) is going to hold 'International Festival' which features the diversity of culture on campus. We are welcoming any idea of what we can perform on the stage (North Ballroom of PMU) and the items to be displayed at the culture booth.

ILTC has been particpating in this event since April 2001 when the 1st 'International Fest' was held. We have been performing 'Aboriginal Dance', 'Lion Dance', 'Puppet Show', 'Fashion Show', 'Shadow Play', 'Er-Hu performance' , etc. in the past years. Our cultural booth has been doing great among international organizations and a photo of our 'fashion show' was on the local news of 'Journal and Courier' on April 19, 2004. 此次IAW號昭了三十多名同學大力支援,讓我們不論是在服裝秀,民族歌謠以及文化攤位都得到了不少的迴響.
在服裝秀中,我們展示了山地,客家,新郎新娘,皇帝與小鳳仙等服飾,在此也再次感謝參與的人員除了在走秀外還加入了趣味的動作,讓觀眾對於我們的展示有更深的印象.
在民族歌謠中,我們表演了客家桃花開,台語望春風,山地歌以及現代流行歌,同樣也再次感謝表演的人員,在百忙之中花了十幾個小時排演,以致在當天有非常好的演出,也讓大家對於台灣歌謠有更多的認識.
在文化攤位中,我們陳列了布袋戲偶,台灣風景明信片,童玩以及觀光局的宣傳影片,再者,我們也非常感謝當地台灣小學生所提供的廟宇模型,讓大家更認識了台灣建築藝術以及相關的文化活動.
最後本會得再次感謝Megan學姊在舞蹈編排以及引進普渡在地台灣小學生的廟宇,美如同學的走秀規劃,以及眾多被會長請來幫忙的學長姐與同學們,讓此次IAW有了非常好的表現.
