I dislike writing about myself and my interests; always feels like I’m trying to sell myself to an overly critical world. Oh, that and I ramble about nothing. So, the short, sweet, and simple about me page.
I graduated from Syracuse University in 2004 with a B.S. in Computer Science and recently started at Purdue University where I’m am now officially qualified. I just don’t know what I’m qualified for yet.
I’m Canadian and a Mac user (which one friend thinks defines all that I am) whose interests are in programming, cryptography, and computer security. I have the required interest in anime for a male computer geek but also enjoy Woody Allen movies ("It’s not that I’m afraid to die, it’s just I don’t want to be around when it happens.").
My favorite book is The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie because my 10th grade English teacher loved me when she found out I read a book over the summer, but then found out what book I read. I also enjoy Harry Potter, which I guess makes me an evil godless devil worshiper.
I enjoy good music (Every one thinks they enjoy good music. I don’t enjoy music on the radio.), including Massive Attack, Iron & Wine, Orbital, Mozart, Clint Mansell, and Nine Inch Nails.
Almost any conversation with me, if long enough, will probably include a “Monty Python” or “Fight Club” quote (in between Apple references).
