The Mysterious Origin of the Ship of Fools

Many years ago, a group of Purdue students, in accordance with ancient prophecy, founded the Purdue Improv Club. Meeting every Friday, the club had an open door policy that welcomed everyone, regardless of experience or skill level, to come out and try their hand at improv comedy. In the fall of 2002, eight regular members were bitten by radioactive pirates. Thus was born the Ship of Fools.

Dedicated to fighting the evil Dr. Boredom, the vicious Doldrums, and even the dastardly Freshman Fifteen, the Ship of Fools delivers a rich bounty of laughs everywhere it sails.

The Ship of Fools' alter-ego, the mild-mannered "Purdue Improv Club," continues to meet consistently, and is open to anyone who wants to perform, learn to perform, or simply watch the funny.
