Ahoy!
The Ship of Fools are proud to announce that we have two new members. Welcome aboard to Steve and Brant, a.k.a. Angel Hair and Rubble (respectively). Be sure to give them a nice hearty Huzzah! if you see them. Also, you should read their very factual bios.
What better way to celebrate and welcome new performers than by coming to the Purdue Improv Club, Fridays, 7pm in BRNG 2280? Now with 100% less cholesterol; approved as part of a heart healthy diet; may cause uncontrollable laughter, appreciation for good comedy, and improved improv skill. Free workshop inside!
Hey Ship of Fools! I was asked by Purdue’s very own College Mentors for Kids to ask you about performing for 10 4-th graders on Thurs. Oct 25th. CMFK is a non-profit organization that helps local students who are from low-income families learn about college and the opportunities available. Our point of asking your club is to show the kids 1) what improv is 2) how it works 3) about a 20 min show 4)let them play one or two games. The kids are between the ages of 9-10, there are 2 boys and 8 girls, plus the 10 ‘big buddies’ or Purdue Students. Please let me know before Tues Oct. 9 at the email address provided or through Stu Ogle’s Facebook. Grazie!
