You will need to make your own hotel reservations. We strongly recommend choosing among the following options:

The Union Club Hotel  Reservations: 1-800-320-6291.

Sixty-five rooms have been reserved for MEG participants. (There are 50 rooms on reserve for those seeking to stay over on September 10). PLEASE BE SURE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS PART OF THE MIDWEST ECONOMETRICS GROUP (MEG) WHEN REGISTERING. The Union Club hotel is on campus and within walking distance of all conference sessions and meals. First come, first serve.

**Check-in time is at 3:00 p.m., with a 1:00 p.m.check-out time. The hotel MAY be able to accommodate early check-ins, provided rooms are available. Note that guests of the Union Club hotel will be able to park at the Grant Street garage free of charge. (The hotel will validate your parking ticket).

Holiday Inn Select: 1-765-423-1000

An additional 40 rooms have been held for the conference. PLEASE BE SURE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS PART OF THE MIDWEST ECONOMETRICS GROUP (MEG) WHEN REGISTERING. The Holiday Inn is not within walking distance of campus, though travel from the Holiday Inn to campus is reasonably convenient:

*** There is a FREE trolley that regularly runs between the Purdue Memorial Union (the location of the Union Club Hotel, most conference meals, and adjacent to the session sites) and the Holiday Inn. ***It is also possible to arrange for transportation via a hotel shuttle; check with the hotel for more information.

***If you choose instead to drive from the hotel to campus, you can park at the Grant Street garage (see campus map under the "Travel" navigation bar on the conference main page). If you choose to do this, please send an e-mail to meg2009@purdue.edu so that a parking pass will be included in your welcome folder.

Located within one mile of the Purdue University Campus. 50 rooms have been set aside for MEG participants (and PLEASE BE SURE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS PART OF THE MIDWEST ECONOMETRICS GROUP (MEG) WHEN REGISTERING to receive a reduced rate).

***The hotel indicated that a shuttle service with a sign-up sheet will be available to bring you to campus and return you to the hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn, Wabash Landing: 1-765-743-2100

This is (possibly) within walking distance of the meeting sites, depending on the weather and your inclination for a long (and rather uphill when heading to campus) walk. The hotel is approximately 7/10 of a mile from the Purdue Memorial Union and the conference sessions. You will NOT need to identify yourself as part of the MEG group, as no rooms have been reserved for MEG participants and no reduced conference rate is available. If you find yourself closed out of the Purdue Memorial Union, a (more expensive) option, that is rather close to campus, is the Hilton Garden Inn.
