Multi-axis spray-based additive manufacturing; precise control and tool path generation of multi-axis additive manufacturing; nanoparticle spray deposition; cold spray deposition.
Fiber optic sensor development with understanding in physics related to optics and photonics; Comsol modeling for different optical fiber configurations; working with fibers such as fiber tapering, splicing, cleaving, polishing, etc.
Multi-axis femtosecond laser machining; pulse filamentation; grating fabrication using femtosecond laser pulses; multi-axis waveguide fabrication and modeling.
Carbon fiber reinforcend polymer (CFRP) composite machining and modeling; CAD/CAM software development for CFRP machining; Cutting force and delamination modeling and predictions.
