Research Interest

Analog and mixed signal IC design. Programmable analog / RF circuit design for wireless and wireline communications. Currently focusing on programmable RF front-end IC design for software defined radio (SDR) and cognitive radio in CMOS / BiCMOS technology. Ultra low power RF front-end IC design for sensor network and bio-telemetry applications.

·         RF front-end design for ultra wideband wireless personal area network (UWB WPAN), Phase II [ETRI]

·         Beam forming in randomly deployed sensor network [NSF]

·         Wireless tracking system for radiation oncology [NIH]

·         Ultra low-size self-powered wireless sensors for condition monitoring of cracks in aircraft structural components [ONR]

·         Chip-to-chip wireless link using 60GHz transceivers

·         Digital driving using sigma-delta modulation with noise shaping [LG]
