Airports

The closest commercial airport is the Indianapolis International Airport (IND), approximately 65 miles from campus.  Chicago's Midway Airport (MDW) is 120 miles and O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is 140 miles.

Airport Transport

Lafayette Limo runs a shuttle service between the Indianapolis Airport and the Purdue Campus, leaving every two hours, nine times a day.  The shuttle ride is approximately 90 minutes and is $27 one-way and $50 round-trip.  This shuttle stops and picks up at the Purdue Memorial Union.

Express Air Coach runs a shuttle between O'Hare and the Purdue Campus (the airport), six times per day.  The ride is approximately three hours (not counting the time change) and is $65 one-way.

Parking

The most convenient parking is in the Grant Street Garage (PGG on campus map) on Grant Street just north of State Street.  This is across the street (or through a tunnel) from the Union (PMU), which is next door (and connected) to the Stewart Center (STEW).

Registered guests of the Union Club Hotel may park for free in the Grant Street Garage, at any time.  After 5 p.m. on Friday, and all Saturday and Sunday, other campus visitors may park free in the Grant Street Garage and at other parking locations in "A", "B" and "C" areas, unless otherwise posted.

Before 5 p.m. on Friday, those not staying at the Union Club Hotel may park in the Grant Street Garage in accordance with posted hourly rates at the garage with a maximum of $10.00 per day.  (1st 30 minutes - $1.00, 2nd 30 minutes - $2.00, thereafter $1.00 an hour.)  With the purchase of a daily permit, visitors may park in any of the parking garages normally reserved for "A" permits. Daily visitor parking permits are available from the Parking Facilities Office in the Visitor Information Center (Friday 8AM-5PM, Saturday 8AM-4PM) located in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage.
