When and Where?

We train on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:00pm in RSC 119 (sometimes called the COREC) and Saturday 4:00-6:00 PM in RSC 121. (RSC 119 is right across from the front desk and 121 is next door)

Stop by and visit any time. The club does require some small dues per semester to cover space expenses (the amount for this year is being discussed), but welcomes newcomers to attend a couple of weeks of training at no obligation.

General Information

We try to add variety to each workout so that no two classes are the same. A typical class includes different variations of stretching, calisthenics, resistance exercises, karate forms and movements, self defense techniques (jujitsu), sparring, and kata (formal choreographed patterns of kicks blocks and strikes).

A sign in sheet will be posted on the wall in the corner of our class area. Please mark off your name when you attend class. Part of the grading requirements is that the student train a minimum number of hours and this record will help the instructor determine if you have met this requirement.

You are required to have a uniform for the grading at the end of the semester.
If you do not have a uniform, sweat pants and a shirt (or anything similar) are appropriate until a uniform is purchased.
