For EVERYBODY:
Bowl-a-thon pledges are due by September 12th. Start collecting those! Feel free to collect more than your individual team fees. All extra pledges will help support the team funds as a whole, and the highest collector will receive a free bowling ball courtesy of Scott Savage.
You will be bowling your "best of 2" for the bowl-a-thon on Sunday, September 12th at 12:00 (noon).
A team meeting will take place on Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. for everybody in PMU 136.
Team fees ($500 for Competitive, $125 for Associate) are due by Friday, September 24th. Make checks payable to Purdue Intercollegiate Bowling Club.
Don't forget to come in and practice! Thanks everybody for joining the club. Looking forward to a great season :)
Boiler Up!
Practice, Call-Out, and Tryouts!!
If you are trying out for the Intercollegiate Team, make sure you get in and practice! Your try-out fee is NOT DUE UNTIL TRY-OUTS due to organizational changes. Lanes are available after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday they are available after 4:15 p.m. Practice at these times and you will have a high chance to meet players who were on the team last year as well as other practicing newcomers, talk to coaches, and get used to the lanes.
Make sure you come to the call-out meeting on Thursday, August 26, at 7 p.m. in STEW 314. Also, stop by our table during the Activities Bonanza on the PMU mall on Thursday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
You're $75 try-out fee is due, cash or check, before your first ball of try-outs on Saturday morning (be there by 8:30 a.m. at the latest please!). Further fees, estimated around $500 for competitive members, and $125 for associate members, will be due mid-September.

Don't Forget the Facebook Page!!
In order to allow everyone to contribute ideas, discuss tournaments, ask questions, or just congratulate each other or inform each other about bowling tournaments or performances, don't forget to "like" the facebook page! This free tool gives us a great forum opportunity that is easy to use and easy to access!
I've added a quick link to the discussion boards on the sidebard, under Forum.
**Please note, there is a Purdue Bowling Team "group" that you can "join". That is older and rarely or no longer used.
It is more important that you "like" the Purdue Intercollegiate Bowling Team "page," as this is newer and more often updated. If you are confused, the links in the sidebar should connect you to the correct group.
