Purdue Intercollegiate Bowling

 

The Purdue Intercollegiate Bowling Club is a recognized student organization. While starting its first year as a recognized student organization with the 2010-2011 season, the program has been a long standing part of Purdue University.

Not bad for a first tournament with men finishing in 17th and women in 13th. Let's build on this solid start to our season and show those other teams why they should worry about the Purdue Boilermakers.

*On the women's side, McKendree 'B' team actually got second place, and therefore the Purdue Women placed third. On the Men's side, the Purdue 'B' Team got seventh place. The results do not show multiple teams for each school.

Congratulations to Erin Czuprynski for a 1st place finish on the women's side, as well as Elly Shields with a 5th place finish. The Women finished in 3rd, and the men placed 7th.

**Eagles Baker Challenge**

Congratulations to the Men's teams for finishing in 2nd and 5th place in a field of 29. The women just missed a top 10 finish, placing 11th.

Congratulations to TJ Schmidt for his 3rd place finish! (This is his fourth ATT!) Men finished 12th and Women in 16th.

 

**McKendree Baker Challenge**

Congratulations to the Men for a 1st place finish. They also battled through Morehead State and Lindenwood in best 2 of 3 match play, before losing to Webber International to place 2nd in the bracket finals.

The women had a tough day on Saturday, but fought back strong on Sunday to jump from 14th to 9th place, just missing the bracket final. Way to fight back ladies!

 

**Hoosier Classic**

TJ Schmidt finished in 1st place at the Hoosier, and also rolled a perfect 300 game to earn himself an individual $500 scholarship. Congratulations TJ for a fantastic season!

The Men finished qualifying in 3rd place (though lost to Newman 3-2 in the first round of the top 8 teams bracket match play). The women fought hard, hanging onto the match play bubble the entire tournament, but settled into 11th place, still a strong finish. The field was large (76 mens, 44 womens), consisting of all A teams.
