Welcome to the homepage for the Neuroprostheses Research Laboratory at Purdue University.   

The NPRLab is a research facility located within the Purdue University Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. The activities in the Neuroprostheses Research Laboratory are centered on basic and applied research utilizing neural engineering approaches to treat neurological disorders.

Primary Research Areas:  Brain-machine interfaces.  Sensation induced by electrical stimulation of neural tissue.  Sensory repair and augmentation.  Neural coding and plasticity.
