Welcome to Krazy Eights, the Purdue
University Square-Dance Club web page. The club offers classes in
Western Square Dancing with four couples in a square
and has been popular with students and
faculty alike. The Krazy Eights is a singles club and therefore it is not
necessary to have a partner to join. We conduct classes for three
levels of square dancing: Basic, Mainstream and Plus in both the Fall and
the Spring semesters. Students can dance at western square dances anywhere
in the world after a semester of classes. Our club caller is
Dayrl Merrill. Square dancers are extremely friendly people, so our
weekly meetings are great fun! Come, join us, make new friends, and enjoy a
fun-filled evening of dancing every week! This is a Purdue Student
Organization with membership open to all Purdue University students,
faculty, staff, alum and immediate families.
The date for the IDA 2009 New Dancers Roundup
is Sunday, April 5th.
The New Dancers Roundup is scheduled from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, EDT
at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Fall Frolic -

With no less than 40 guests and 13 members present,
this was one of our
most successful dances! The Krazy Eights sends out a HUGE thank you
to everyone who attended. We are working hard to continually introduce
square dancing to the younger college students and our semester dances
are a big part of insuring that success.
