What are the advantages of taking classes at the Statewide location?

  • Evening, Saturday and day classes—a lot of flexibility

  • Accelerated courses

  • Indiana College Network (ICN) web and correspondence courses, www.icn.org

  • Opportunity for a nontraditional student to complete a degree

What are the drop, add, and withdrawal policies on courses?

How long will it take to complete my degree?

  • The length of time varies depending on the level of commitment a student is willing to invest.  However, it is possible for a student working fulltime to complete a B.S. in 4 years.  This is possible due to the various class delivery options and flexibility in scheduling. 

How long are completed course work credits considered acceptable towards a degree?

  • Purdue University, University Regulations Handbook, Section IV, Requirements for Degrees states: “Deans of schools may refuse to accept as credit toward graduation any course that was completed 10 or more years previously.”

Transfer Credits - What course credits will be accepted at Statewide and how recent must the coursework be in order to transfer?
