I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 1991 and 1993 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 2005. Currently, I'm an Associate Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University.
My research interests include Distributed Control of large-scale complex network systems (e.g. supply network coordination, dynamic resource allocation, and emergency logistics), based on the fundamental decision principles (such as auction, social welfare, preparedness, centrality, and parallelism) designed from multidisciplinary perspectives.
