NEW! http://www.domeplans.com/ is one nifty site! You may purchase Professional Dome Plans...but before you do, Jeffrey Hill offers you 6 pages of sample text, the table of contents, and 7 sample plans (in addition to the License Agreement for the use of Professional Dome Plans). Very informative, terms are explained well, and the plans are done clearly. I'm not sure I am ready to build a dome from this level (building the individual panels), but I have already gotten a lot of information from the downloadable text.

Read a jr. high school level site about Buckminster Fuller, environmentalist-genius-architect of the Geodesic Dome. Some people thought he was a nut.
For a bit more detail about "Bucky", check out the Buckminster Fuller Institute web site. I could spend hours on this site...and have.
