Pastor Jim Barton has been at University Lutheran since 1989. As a parent of 3 children (incidentally with two recently completing college) he knows there will be issues confronting students and families.

Toby Schmidt is our Campus Missionary to Chinese-speaking people, working out of our church and sponsored by our Indiana District, LC-MS, and Midwest Chinese Ministries. His office is on the upper floor of the church. Toby has been here since August and was officially “commissioned” for his work on October13, 2002.

We congratulate all who were elected to our 2008 Church Council.. Thanks for being willing to serve! Please pray for these new officers and think about volunteering to help out, when they take office in January. Thanks to this year’s Council, too, for their efforts, and to Carrie Jacobs, David Dallman, Don Schuck, Scott Scheidt, Amy Jo Hall, and Ryan Kammeyer, who will be “retiring” from office.
