Pastor Jim Barton

Pastor Jim Barton has been at University Lutheran since 1989. As a parent of 3 children (incidentally with two recently completing college) he knows there will be issues confronting students and families. He welcomes students, facility, and staff to stop by (or call for an appointment at 743-2472) and talk over personal questions or concerns you have. He'd be pleased to help you with your spiritual needs or to talk with you about Jesus and the Christian faith and the Lutheran church. He is in his office most weekday mornings and many afternoons. • International students are welcome to visit University Lutheran at any time. We would be happy to show you what a Christian church is like and answer your questions, with no pressure or obligation. We also have English Bibles, dictionaries, and some Bibles in a variety of languages available free for you. Stop by the church to receive one or call 743-2472.
• Have trouble with "slippin in" on Sundays?! Remember that University Lutheran offers a 7pm service on Sundays, during the regular academic year.
