STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS TOPICS OR MATTERS RELATING TO THE COURSE WITH THE INSTRUCTOR IF THEY HAVE DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING OR USING THE MATERIALS.  DO NOT POSTPONE THOSE DISCUSSIONS IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT SUBJECTS COVERED IN THE READINGS OR IN CLASS OR ABOUT GRADES IN THE COURSE.

Students are also encouraged to discuss matters that relate to the course if they have deeper interests in the subject than those presented in class.  Exploring ideas, expanding knowledge and understanding, or just learning more is always worth the time.
