Shashank's concert

The Indian Classical Music Association of Purdue (ICMAP) was formed in 1989 to promote Indian classical music at and around Purdue by organizing live concerts by eminent classical musicians. This is a non-profit organization run primarily by a group of students. We work to bring Indian classical music to diverse listeners of the Greater Lafayette area.

At ICMAP, we offer advertising and publicity opportunities - several local businesses have advertised profitably through our concerts. Furthermore, we have the support of other channels of publicity including local radio/TV stations (WLFI, WEZV, WBAA Purdue TV) and newspapers. Also, our events are often widely publicized throughout the Greater Lafayette area through the Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF), the Long Center for Performing Arts and other commercial establishments in the community.

Traditionally, our efforts have been greeted with enthusiasm from all quarters. We enjoy widespread popularity among the student community as well as the faculty and staff at Purdue. If you would like to participate in our activities, would like us to organize concerts by artistes you promote, or would like to be informed about our events, please This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .
