Mortar Board Challenge Scholarship
The Mortar Board Challenge Scholarship is awarded to sophomores who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, service and leadership.
Newly initiated in January of 1997, the Mortar Board Challenge Scholarship recognizes those Sophomores who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, service and leadership. The scholarship also challenges these students to continue to have a positive impact on the Purdue community as they continue their educational experience. The award recognizes five finalists and announces the winner at the annual Mortar Board Awards Dessert. The Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board presents the winner with $500 honorarium for educational fees.
