About the Women of Purdue Reception

The purpose of the Women of Purdue reception is to welcome and recognize distinguished women faculty and administrators of Purdue University who have either recently been hired or promoted into positions of Associate Dean or higher. As an organization that was founded in 1918 as the first national organization honoring senior college women for distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, Mortar Board uses this reception as an opportunity for our chapter to continue its legacy of honoring outstanding women.
