Debbie Anderson - Staff Campus Advisor
Debbie Anderson serves as the Residential Life Manager at Amelia Earhart Residence Hall at Purdue University. Debbie has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Purdue and a master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel also from Purdue… Yes she is a die hard Boilermaker! In addition to working with Mortar Board Debbie is the advisor to the Presidents Roundtable, a division of Purdue Student Government.
In the spring of 2004 Mortar Board was honored to name Debbie the recipient of the Helen B. Schleman Gold Medallion Award for her commitment and service to students at Purdue University. Debbie was also named a Special Boilermaker in 1992. Born into a family of Boilermaker fans, Debbie grew up on a farm with one sister and three brothers all of whom live within two hours of Purdue. Her favorite family moments are when she gets to play “Aunt Debbie” to her three nieces and three nephews.
