Zenephia Evans - Staff Campus Advisor
Zenephia E. Evans graduated Magna Cum Laude and with distinction from Talladega College and received a Ph.D. in cell and developmental biology from Purdue University. Dr. Evans has worked as a lab coordinator and a faculty lecturer in the Biological Sciences Department teaching Biology 211, 212, 195Z and 295Z. Currently, she is the Director of Multicultural Science Programs and the Associate Director of Science Diversity in the College of Science.
Zenephia was a former honorary for Mortar Board, Iron Key Honorary and Alpha Delta Lamda Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Currently she is the advisor for the Association of Multicultural Science Students (AMSS), Caribbean Student Association (CSA), and the Zeta Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is a past Convener of the Council on the Status of Women (CSW) at Purdue, Vice President/Treasurer and Social Chair of the Black Caucus of Faculty and Staff and a faculty fellow in Earhart on 8 east. In addition, she is an official scorekeeper for Purdue Women's Basketball, a member of the Parish Council, Stewardship Committee and the capital campaign committee at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Dr. Evans enjoys music, reading, sports and spending time with family, friends and her 10 God children.
