Betsy Marti - Community Advisor

Betsy Marti is the Co-owner of Design Nook Interiors, a furniture and interior accessories store and design service. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue in Education as well as a Master’s degree from Purdue in Housing and Community Development. In addition to working with Mortar Board, Betsy is a part of the Purdue Musical Organizations Advisory Board, the President of the House Corporation Board for Alpha Phi Sorority, and the Chair of the First Methodist Church Higher Education Committee.

Betsy Marti was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from Purdue Musical Organizations and was also named as an Honorary member of our Purdue Mortar Board Chapter. Betsy is happily married to Bill, a Math teacher and coach. Together they have two sons, Blake and Brett, who both graduated from Purdue and are now happily married. Betsy is also a very proud grandparent with a Grandson named Owen who was born in the summer of 2004! Betsy loves reading as well as watching “Purdue sports: the good, the bad, and the heartbreaking.”
