Travis and Laura Parks serve full time with The Navs here at Purdue. Travis came to Christ while a Freshman in high school and went to Ashland University where he was involved in the Navs. Joe Maggelet, the Nav staff at Ashland, spent much time with Travis modeling a love for God, His Word and people. This helped Travis see how important college ministry can be in young people’s lives. It was at Ashland that God called Travis into collegiate ministry with The Navs. Travis’ life verse is 1 Thessalonians 2:8: “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”

Laura came to Christ in elementary school and gained a heart for discipleship after a college student discipled her in junior high and high school. She met the Navigators while attending Wheaton College. After graduation, she came on staff fulltime with The Navigators.

Travis and Laura met at Purdue while on staff and joyfully got married 5 years ago. They have a son, Dawson, and daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
