Member Information

 

 

Purdue students in their first and second year with a grade point average of 3.4 or above (on a 4.0 scale) are invited to join NSCS. A one time membership fee is required upon joining NSCS. These dues cover funding for chapter activities, a personalized diploma and cover for each member, a membership pin, an on-campus induction ceremony, on-line community membership, and other national activities that members can participate in. Once a student becomes a member of NSCS, he or she is a lifetime member, no matter what grade point average he or she holds for the remainder of his or her time at Purdue University.

 

As of April 17th, 2007, we have 1712 members in the Purdue University Chapter of NSCS! We are one of the largest student organizations on campus. We do have a member rewards program in our chapter which is very unique. Members will get points for every activity they participate in, whether it be all-member meetings, community service projects, Planning for College Success projects, socials, etc. The members who get the top points in this program will be rewarded with prizes!
