I am currently working on my masters degree at Purdue University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. My main focus is on characterization and analysis of semiconducting nanowire field effect transistors.
The main objectives for my thesis are:
- Characterize nanowire MOSFETs and compare the results to state-of-the-art planar MOSFETs.
- Examine critical device properties such as gate capacitance, mobility, and series resistance.
- Utilize simulation tools as a benchmark for actual nanowire MOSFETs and perform a simple ballistic simulation to look at the ultimate limits of the device structure.
Outside of my thesis work I have many ongoing hobies that include but are not limited to gaming computer construction, web design, 3D graphical artwork and logos, and inventing and building whatever I come up with. I hope to get a projects area started soon. Check out my feed from google reader to see what I am checking out online.
