Welcome to the Purdue OCF website. First off, I'd like to thank Nick, our previous webmaster for doing such a great job with our website. Unfortunately, Nick had to graduate and move on to bigger and better things. So, I ask your patience as I put up those big orange traffic cones and update this wonderful website for the new year. In the mean time, if you're looking for more information about OCF, feel free to email me (Ellie Baum) at ebaum@purdue.edu. That is, until I get permission to put up the OCF president's info.
Get Involved
Orthodox and non-Orthodox alike are welcome to attend our weekly meetings. Meetings take place at the OCF house (located at 5th and Waldron) every Tuesday night from 7-8pm. So join us for fellowship and discussion. Also, join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 at St. Alexis Orthodox Church in Lafayette. Let us know if you'd like a ride.
10/2: Game Night and Popcorn!Come this Tuesday for games and fellowship (7pm OCF house-you know the drill). Also, there is a chance Mike will make some of his famous homemade popcorn. Yum. (Okay, this is the first I've heard of his popcorn skills, but I'm sure they are amazing.)
No OCF 10/8Due to fall break, there will be no OCF on Tuesday 9/8. Have a great break! Be safe!
Career Night In a few weeks, we will be having members of St. Alexis speak on how they use God in their Career. This is a great way to get to know members of our parish. More information will be avaible shortly
Police Station TourSometime before Career Night, there will be a tour of the Police Station with John, a member of St. Alexis and a Purdue cop. If you can't make it on the tour, he is also coming to Career Night however, this will be a great way to learn more about his job (and tour a Police Station! All right!).
